Vishal Jariwala is building a global AI product and a national skilling framework at the same time. Investors in Mumbai’s family-office circles are watching closely.
There is a version of Mumbai that does not show up in headlines. Quiet builder couples, profitable anchor businesses, unglamorous capital discipline. Vishal and Dipti are a fair profile of that Mumbai. He is the Founder and Chairman of Adsnex, and the Architect of AIFI, the Artificial Intelligence Forum of India. She is the founder of Smiligners, a profitable, fully bootstrapped venture whose cash flow, customer base and operating muscle quietly power both of his AI ventures. It is a power-couple setup, but the tone is deliberately under-stated.
Jariwala has spent over two decades at the intersection of applied AI, performance marketing and grassroots Indian consumer behaviour. That is an unusual combination. Most AI operators cannot sell. Most sales operators cannot ship. He does both, and he now has two ventures running in parallel, on the same operating discipline.
Adsnex: A $600 Billion Operating System
Adsnex is being built as the world’s first AI-native Advertising Operating System. It replaces the 7 to 12 disconnected tools that are bleeding advertising teams an estimated $50,000 a year. On a single surface, marketers create, manage, optimize and automate campaigns across Meta, Google and a growing integration set that includes Amazon, TikTok, Snap, Taboola, LinkedIn, OTT Ads, E-commerce Ads and Quick Commerce Ads. Agentic AI workflows, a token-driven engine and an ads-specific large language model on the roadmap form the technical stack.
The market is sized for a global product. Global digital advertising spend crosses $600 billion annually. Close to 50 million SMBs worldwide spend about $2,000 each on paid media, a $100 billion serviceable market. Adsnex’s beachhead is already live. 2,000 paying customers across India and the MENA region, approximately $4 million in early annualized revenue. Core users are SMBs, performance marketers and agencies that can no longer afford the tool-sprawl tax.
The Pre-Seed
Adsnex is raising ₹10 crore (approximately $1.1 million) in a pre-seed round at a pre-money valuation of ₹40 to 50 crore, translating to 16 to 20 percent dilution. Capital will fund MVP launch, platform integrations, the enterprise and API layer, agentic AI v2 and the data pipeline for the ads-specific LLM. Smiligners has committed as an early investor and joint development partner, routing approximately 400 paying customers into closed beta. Conversations with strategic investors and family offices across India and MENA are active. With MVP weeks away, the round is moving quickly.
“Four arenas. One mind. Adtech, Skills, Jobs, AI Solutions.”
AIFI: The National Canvas
India’s ₹10,372 crore AI Mission has the budget. AIFI has the blueprint. AIFI (AI For Impact), an initiative of Smiligners, is a government-ready national AI skilling framework aligned with the IndiaAI Mission and PMKVY 4.0’s target of 50 lakh young Indians by 2026. Its 98 NSQF-aligned courses span three tracks. Part A for job seekers, women, homemakers, rural youth and persons with disabilities. Part B for civil services, railways, defence, judiciary, healthcare and education. Part C for MSMEs, startups and employers.
The library is a deliberate act of inclusion. ‘Ghar Se Career’ for homemakers. ‘AI for SHG Leaders and Lakhpati Didis’. ‘AI for Senior Bureaucrats’ at LBSNAA. ‘AI in Cyber Crime Investigation’. Dedicated programmes for ISRO and DRDO scientists. AIFI is in active discussions with NASSCOM and is pursuing NSDC approvals to deliver as many courses as possible free of cost. A public and private placement ecosystem is being architected alongside, because Jariwala’s reading is that India’s real challenge is placement, not skilling.
Enterprise AI: The Third Axis
Beyond Adsnex and AIFI, sector-specific AI solutions are being productised across banking, insurance, universities, government, smart cities, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, automotive, logistics, video and content, media, healthcare, real estate, hospitality, agriculture, legal, HR and telecom. Each one is engineered to automate work, lift sales and compound productivity. Enterprise pilot conversations are already under way.
Why Mumbai Capital Is Paying Attention
Adsnex is the commercial engine. AIFI is the national canvas. Sector AI is the enterprise expansion. For family offices and strategic investors in Mumbai, the unusual pattern is the combination. A global AI product, a cash-flowing anchor, a national distribution moat and an explicit MENA beachhead, inside a sub-$2 million round. With early traction compounding and MVP only weeks away, the blueprint is actively taking shape.
