When Jigar Saraiya took the stage for his debut IIFA performance, it was more than just a musical moment—it was a heartfelt tribute to his late parents. Choosing to express his emotions through both music and fashion, Jigar collaborated with Dubai-based designer Zaid Farouki, known for his art-inspired couture that seamlessly blends storytelling with design.
For this deeply personal performance, Farouki created a custom white ensemble—its purity symbolizing remembrance and eternal connection. Flowing yet structured, the outfit embodied both vulnerability and strength, mirroring Jigar’s emotions. However, it was the intricately crafted feather brooch that held the most profound significance. A delicate, ethereal piece, it reflected Jigar’s belief that his parents continue to send him signs—gentle whispers carried on feathers that always find him in moments of need.
“As he steps onto the stage, he is not just performing—he is reaching for them,” Zaid expressed in a heartfelt post. “Through every note, every breath, he honors their memory, feeling their presence surround him. And perhaps, beyond what the eye can see, they are watching, listening, and embracing him once more.”
