Dr. J. Somasekar, Professor and Program Head of CSE (AIDD) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, has been invited as a keynote speaker at prestigious international conferences in Malaysia, Egypt, and Singapore.
In Egypt, Dr. Somasekar served as a Keynote Speaker at the IEEE International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Smart Innovation (ICMISI-2025), hosted by AAST in Alexandria, Egypt in May 2025. He also chaired technical sessions at the event. Recognizing his contributions, the Department of Science and Technology (DST)–ANRF, Government of India awarded him a prestigious International Travel Grant to attend the conference. This grant provided complete financial support, including international airfare, visa processing fees, and other related expenses, ensuring his seamless participation in the IEEE conference in Egypt. He was felicitated during the Awarding Ceremony in the esteemed presence of the President and General Chair.
In Malaysia, Dr. Somasekar was a Keynote Speaker at the 9th International Conference on Information Technology and Digital Applications (ICITDA), organized by INTI International University, Malaysia, in association with Universitas Islam Indonesia, and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Malaysia Section and IEEE Computer Society in November 2024. For this conference, INTI Malaysia sponsored all his expenses, including travel, accommodation, and campus visits, under the Inbound Visiting Scholar (IVS) program.
In Singapore, further extending his international presence, Dr. Somasekar has been invited as a Keynote Speaker at the 4th World Conference on Multidisciplinary Research & Innovation (WCMRI-2025), to be held in July 2025 supported by the organizers
Besides, he received an invitation to serve as a keynote speaker at the 2nd Beyond Technology Summit on Informatics International Conference (2025 2nd BTS-I2C), hosted by Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, to be held in Jember, Indonesia (Hybrid) on 18 December 2025. He also received a speaker invitation for the 21st edition of the Global Conference on Catalysis, Chemical Engineering & Technology (CAT-2025), a hybrid event to be held in Valencia, Spain, in September 2025.
