Patna: On the occasion of National Pollution Prevention Day, volunteers of Humanaro Foundation organized a workshop cum awareness campaign in Sri Krishna Puri Children’s Park, Patna, in which people were made aware of the benefits of cleanliness which can significantly reduce pollution.
The participants were also made to pledge to protect these saplings. Co-founder Kumar Vishal stated that pollution is the biggest reason for the increasing number of diseases in our society today. He further added, from the food to the air we breathe, has also become polluted, which leads us to the conclusion that it is very important for us to be aware for the sake of our own well-being.
The program was chaired by Niharika Rai and conducted by Vaidehi Jha. Niharika Rai made a firm statement to the press and people alike, declaring their determination to save the environment. She assured that such programs will continue to be organized in the future as well. Anushka Anand, Sudhir Kumar Jaiswal, Kishan Kumar, Muskan Bharti, Komal Kumari played their active participation in the program.
