CGM NEO Opens Four Account Types, From a $50 Standard to a Swap-Free Islamic Account

Most brokerage comparisons begin with cost. A more useful starting question is structure: whether the account a client opens on day one still fits the way they trade a year later. CGM NEO, the digital brokerage platform built by Continental Global Markets, answers that question with four account types rather than one, ranging from a Standard account at $50 to an ECN account at $2,500, with a swap-free Islamic account alongside them.

The Standard account, with a $50 minimum, exists to remove the size of the first deposit as a barrier. A client can fund an account, place live orders and form a view of execution quality before committing further capital. That matters more than it sounds: much of what separates one brokerage from another only becomes visible once real orders are being filled.

The Pro account begins at $200 and is aimed at clients trading with more regularity, where the balance between deposit size and trading conditions starts to shift. It occupies the middle of the range rather than acting as a premium upgrade.

At the top of the range, the ECN account starts at $2,500 and is built for clients who want their orders routed into the firm’s liquidity relationships rather than handled through a wider retail pricing model. The higher minimum reflects the account’s purpose rather than any exclusivity.

The swap-free Islamic account addresses a structural requirement rather than a preference. Ordinary CFD accounts apply overnight financing to positions held past the close, which rules them out for clients who cannot participate in interest-based arrangements. CGM NEO removes that mechanism entirely on the Islamic account, so the same instruments remain accessible on terms that fit the client’s obligations. Across the Middle East in particular, that is often the difference between a brokerage being usable and not.

The practical value of a four-tier range is movement. A client who begins on Standard and later moves to Pro or ECN keeps the same platform, the same interface and the same brokerage relationship. Nothing has to be relearned and no account has to be opened elsewhere.

The four account types and their conditions are set out in full on CGM NEO.

None of this implies that one account is better than another. A $50 Standard account and a $2,500 ECN account are answers to different questions, and the point of publishing all four side by side is to let the client decide which question they are asking. For Continental Global Markets, that choice is the starting point of the relationship rather than an afterthought.

Trading forex, CFDs and digital assets carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Losses can exceed initial deposits in some circumstances.
