Pune: Alligator Automations, a leading player in end-of-line packaging and robotic automation, has inaugurated a cutting-edge manufacturing unit in Pune with a significant investment of ₹40 crore. This expansion aligns with the company’s vision of building an Indian engineering powerhouse capable of delivering world-class machines to global markets. With the new facility, Alligator Automations is set to triple its production capacity.
The newly launched unit aims to position India firmly within the global automation landscape. With an annual production capability of ₹500–600 crore, the facility enables complete turnkey projects—engineered, assembled, tested, and shipped from India to customers worldwide. This move also helps reduce dependence on imported robotic systems, strengthening India’s footprint in global automation supply chains.

The facility includes advanced fabrication lines, a modern powder-coating unit, automated storage systems capable of holding 100+ tons of inventory, and a massive 100,000 sq ft assembly area. Its six loading bays, five 7.5-ton cranes, and completely digital, paperless workflow enable 15–20 large projects to be executed simultaneously, including turnkey solutions up to 80 metres in length.
By consolidating fabrication, coating, quality checks, stores, and assembly under one roof, Alligator Automations expects to cut delivery timelines by nearly 20%, while enhancing production accuracy. The facility is projected to increase exports by 30% and create 400+ jobs in India and 100 internationally over the next three years.
