Leading oncologists, hematologists and hospital administrators come together at a scientific briefing and virtual launch to address unmet needs in supportive cancer care
Mumbai/Pune, 16 July, 2026: HealZen today announced the launch of OncoHope™, a structured, multidisciplinary supportive cancer care program designed to address critical gaps in patient-centred oncology support. The launch took place at a scientific briefing and virtual introduction event themed ‘Addressing the Unmet Need in Supportive Cancer Care Through Research, Collaboration and Patient-Centred Innovation’, bringing together senior oncologists, hematologists, hospital leadership and clinical researchers from across the healthcare ecosystem.
The event opened with welcome remarks that set the context for the growing burden of cancer-related symptom distress and the persistent gaps in structured supportive care alongside standard oncology treatment. This was followed by a detailed presentation on the unmet need for multidisciplinary, evidence-informed and patient-centred interventions that integrate metabolic restoration, therapy induced cytopenia, secondary inflammation, liver health through PRO Therapeutic Protocol (Oral consumption of Natural Bioactive compounds) onco nutrition, psychosocial support, education and continuous monitoring into cancer care pathways.
A key highlight of the session was the presentation of evidence from the TGH OCC clinical trial, covering study methodology, patient characteristics, clinical observations, patient-reported outcomes, safety data and key learnings offering a robust evidence base for the supportive interventions that underpin the OncoHope™ model. The centrepiece of the event was the official launch of the OncoHope™ web platform, unveiled by Dr. Deepak Patkar. The platform demonstration covered the program’s services, referral process, patient registration, educational resources, research section, and a dedicated contact and collaboration portal positioning OncoHope™ as a digital front door for patients and clinicians seeking structured supportive oncology care.
The launch was followed by an interactive discussion among expert panellists on strengthening supportive oncology care in routine clinical practice, the clinical applicability of the OncoHope™ model, opportunities for research collaboration and evidence generation, referral mechanisms and multidisciplinary coordination, and the scope for future multicentric studies and academic partnerships.
